Cookie Policy.
Last updated: 19 October 2026. What cookies this site uses, what they do, and how you can control them.
1. Summary
This site uses only a minimal set of cookies. We do not run advertising cookies, cross-site trackers, or third-party marketing pixels. The cookies we do use fall into three categories: essential (needed for the site to work), analytics (aggregate page-view counts), and preference (remembered settings).
2. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store, then sends back to the site on later visits. Similar technologies include local storage, tracking pixels, and web beacons. This policy covers all of those.
3. Cookies we set
| Name | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| mvi_session | Essential | Maintains basic session state for the contact form | Session |
| mvi_prefs | Preference | Remembers UI preferences such as reduced motion | 1 year |
| mvi_analytics | Analytics | Aggregate page-view counting (no personal identifiers) | 30 days |
Analytics cookies count page views in aggregate only and are not used to build a profile of you. Essential cookies are required for basic site functionality. Preference cookies remember settings you have chosen.
4. Third-party requests
The site loads fonts from Google's CDN. This is a request for a font file, not a cookie โ but when your browser fetches the file, Google receives your IP address and a referrer header, and Google may set cookies of its own, controlled by Google's own privacy policy. You can block third-party requests in your browser settings if you prefer.
5. Email engagement
Transactional emails we send may include a tracking pixel or click-tracking link so we can confirm delivery and diagnose problems. This is used only for operational purposes โ to know whether our messages reach you โ and not for marketing or profiling. If you reply to any email, the tracking is not carried into your reply.
6. Your browser controls
Every modern browser lets you view, block, or delete cookies. Common paths:
- Chrome โ Settings โ Privacy and security โ Cookies and other site data
- Firefox โ Settings โ Privacy & Security โ Cookies and Site Data
- Safari โ Settings โ Privacy โ Manage Website Data
- Edge โ Settings โ Cookies and site permissions
Blocking essential cookies may affect how the contact form works. Blocking analytics and preference cookies has no effect on your ability to use the site.
7. Do Not Track
We honor the Do Not Track (DNT) and Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals sent by your browser. When these are set, we disable analytics cookies for your session. We do not use advertising cookies at all.
8. Changes to this policy
If we introduce new cookies in the future, we will update this page, change the "last updated" date, and announce the change on the home page. We will not introduce advertising or third-party marketing trackers.
